What I'm working on right now.
Inspired by Derek Sivers' /now movement. Updated when something actually changes, not for show.
Decider.ai
Backend Engineer since 2025. Building the backend layer of a decision-support platform: AI agents orchestrating multiple models, local-first anonymisation tooling that processes sensitive data without external transfer, and RAG pipelines plugged into clients' internal knowledge bases.
Stack: NestJS, PostgreSQL, Claude, Gemini. This is where most of my weeks happen.
VoiceJournal — acquisition phase
The app has been live on the App Store since April. The product does what it should (transcription + AI analysis + Mind Score). Focus has shifted from build to acquisition.
What I'm actively working on:
- ASO on the French and English App Stores: iterating on title, subtitle, keywords, screenshots. Store-page-to-install conversion is the first battle.
- Social content on Instagram and TikTok under @aymeric.builder. Build-in-public format and short Mind Score demos. Goal: generate organic awareness with zero marketing budget.
- LinkedIn posts on technical and product learnings. Target audience: peer indie builders + tech recruiters who download.
- Weekly audio recap in development — if you record every day, AI generates a voice summary of your week. Retention bet.
Caroubolt & Tookta
Caroubolt runs on autopilot since launch. Minimal maintenance. A few iterations on the carousel generator when a user reports a bug or requests a feature.
Tookta keeps going with the team (4 people). I stay hands-on Engineering Manager, with a more strategic role now that we've hit national scope.
What I'm publishing
I started a writing cycle on this site. 17 articles published to date — on the 2026 stack, the Spec-Driven workflow with Claude, AI app submission to the App Store, and others. Target cadence: one article every two weeks, no more, no less.
What I'm not doing
To stay focused, I recently said no to:
- Two full-time freelance missions.
- A new app I had imagined — not the right time.
- Any in-person conferences or meetups this half-year.
- Getting back to Twitter/X actively.
